Street Dance & Modern Jazz is an up to date style of dancing, you will learn moves like you see on MTV Base! We do not teach breakdancing. You'll be trained so that you're more supple, have more rhythm and really get to learn how to dance!
We do funky up tempo dances to hip hop/r'n'b, sassy r'n'b (i.e. Beyonce & Rihanna), cool hat dances to artists like Ne-Yo, chair dances plus modern jazz to Moulin Rouge/Amy Winehouse etc. It's a great way to learn a talent & stay fit.
We
teach the moves slowly, do a bit with the music then move on to the
next bit when you're ready. I won't teach you the whole thing then
expect you to do it straight away so you have no need to worry. I also
do the steps infront of you too.

There are a lovely bunch of girls in all the classes, we do not do attitude in class, it's a friendly class. The only attitude we allow is when you're dancing!
I've trained in ballet, tap & modern jazz since the age of 2.
I danced regulary in concerts, special events, shows in London/Manchester etc. I even went to Portugal for a few months so I have plenty of experience as a dancer.
I got into Street Dance quite a few years back and really enjoy it. So if you like a sassy, sleek yet elegant style of dance then come to my class and decide for youself if it's for you.
